Right... So in the end I was not able to juggle the courses and had to temporarily abandon chapters 10 and 11. For the long wait without notice, I'm extremely sorry, but I had some extremely trying problems. In any case, I'll be having spring break soon, and hopefully I can fully concentrate on getting chapter 11 out to be betaed. On the matter of betas.... I'm still short of one long-term beta :\ Any one want to volunteer? (looks around and sighs) Oh well! Here's a snippet of chapter 10 (un-betaed of course) for you people who might think that I've dropped the ball on this fic completely :)

Harry sat up abruptly, waking from a dark and troubled but unremembered dream. The pain that flared up everywhere over his body at the gesture made him regret his actions. He gave a slight moan as the abrupt action stretched his sore pectoral muscles and pulled at something on his back.

Frowning, he cautiously felt where the aching pain came from. Several thoughts flitted across his still sleep-fogged brain at what registered under his probing fingers, but most prominent amongst them was confusion. Wait a minute… Lacerations? When did I… he thought drowsily to himself. No ready answer was apparent in his mind, however, and such an occurrence rang the alarm. Shaking the persistent cobwebs of sleep that still clung at his mental faculties, he was about to delve deeper into his mind in search for answers when he heard a slight rustling over to his side and felt an arm drag him back down onto the robes that shielded them from the chilling stone floor.

Hey, guys (whoever is hovering around, that is)! I'm officially back on the screen with the writing of ch. 11. I'm sorry it took so long to get this up, but I was unfortunately mired in some emotional issues. Anyway, I will be getting into contact with my betas (seems like I might need another one :\) for ch. 10 which I sent around the time I disappeared, so it should be done... Anyway, to those who are wondering/worrying, this fic will not be aborted! I will stay the course, though it would take a while to finish. thanks for you all who stuck by me, I will try to speed it up, but I'm taking some pretty heavy courses this term and I don't know if I can keep it up in the air. I'll try my best!

Difficulties - Searching for beta

So I have recently been working on ch. 10 and it's been forwarded to my beta for correction. Hopefully nothing will go wrong and necessitate a change in plot. That's the update for now, and once again a thousand thanks for your support! :) P.S: Will be posting about vampire and Lycan family tree (soon, I hope)

Well, everyone, Ch. 9 has been approved by the Schnoogle mods, so hopefully you'll all be able to see it soon :) I'm already working on ch.10, and hopefully it won't take another 5-6 months to get out... that's all for now, toodles and thanks for your support! :D

Random thought

Ok, this post has nothing to do with my fic whatsoever... or I should say not directly. I'm just trying to think my way through the mazes and tangles of a 20th C. American Novel paper and I just thought I might start on a daily update of the Lj. Anyway, since I'm bogged down with Cather, Fiedler and McNickle and having an absolutely GRAND time of playing merry-go-around, the fic has temporarily been removed form it's top priority place and moved to second... (sighs). So, that aside, the weather today in Oregon is absolutely miserable.. no sun and it even rained hail like an hour or so ago. That's all for now, hope some people come to see this Lj :\

Status Update!

Well! For anyone that might wander in here curious to know about the fic... I got chapter 9 back from my beta a few days ago and after some modification to the ending it should be ok for uploading! By the way, is there anyone out there that's interested in beta-ing for this fic? My beta is currently swamed under with schoolwork, so it would take a LONG time to get the chapters up... (not like I write fast or anything *ducks head in shame*) So there you go, the newest fic update! I do wonder if anybody is even visiting this LJ, however... :\

Fic Status

Well, to everyone that's been here and will be here (I hope) the fic is currently up to chapter 9 (being beta-ed and corrected even as I speak) and I'm hard at work at finalizing chapter 10, which I will be submitting to my beta sometime around next week (I hope). For all you readers out there, I am sorry that it took me this long, but real-life problems for both my beta and me will slow things down from now on. I will try to be as quick as possible, but I'm certain that all of you would want some quality work instead of some hashed-together second-rate writing, so please bear with me :) That's all for now, toodles and thank you for your support!!
